This beautiful traditional home located in Chapel Hill, NC, lacked an indoor-outdoor experience and Dawn Christine Architect, PLLC was hired to transform their entire backyard as a luxurious outdoor area for the family to enjoy their grilling and outdoor needs. The Pool House Backyard Design project included designing an exquisite pool house that consists of an outdoor kitchen made entirely out of stone with state of the art appliances. The dining area consists of clear views to the pool and the landscape through archways.
Exteriors
The living area of Pool House Backyard Design centers around a stunning stone fireplace flanked by built-in bench seating, creating a cozy and inviting focal point. Emphasizing a harmonious material palette, stone and brick feature prominently throughout the design, while a vaulted ceiling with warm wooden panels ties the spaces together with a cohesive, earthy tone.
Dawn Christine Architect thoughtfully incorporated details from the existing home, such as elegant arcs, seamlessly blending the new design with the original structure. These curves are echoed in the pool house and surrounding planters, creating a fluid connection between the home and landscape. The result is a harmonious outdoor living space with ample room for lounging and entertaining, perfectly uniting form and function.
