Project: Quaint Porch Addition

"Dawn did a small job for us - a screen porch addition on an older home. We needed an existing draft updated and some detail added to it. It was a smaller engagement, so I feared not being able to get attention in it. The site meeting was set up within a few days, and she quickly established that she was the right choice. She made some major changes to the draft we had, and we ended up with a better project.

She returned the drawings to us on time, met with us and the contractor and explained everything fully. The drawings exceeded the requirements we had put on her, including extra views and design ideas. She even included suggested furniture placement.

When I talked to her, she told me they were quick and they were good. I was afraid quick and good may not go together, but she made it work. Quick, good and right on budget. She'll be my first stop should I need an architect again."
